6imo mariners would want pitching they have a ton of outfielders, replace trammel with pitching or infield
maybe quanrill, padres competative balance pick, than either campusano or morejon and marcano
but i could be wrong, wjth all the different prospects that san diego has if they wanted haniger i think they could easily get it done
Or this one? Some people still think Margot has a lot of value because of his elite defense and speed and he does hit lefties really well.
I know that’s the thing, there are so many options here to choose from. You could even throw in a starter in Joey Luchessi, quantril, etc.. this would be a guy I’d be trying to trade for if I were the padres, club control and cheap
I feel like this is a pretty lowball offer for the Mariners at a time when the Padres are paying a premium in prospect capital for cost controlled talent. The valuations balance out here but be honest, this is an easy yes for the Padres. You have 3 guys that you're down on going to Seattle. I don't think the Mariners are stirred to action by this offer.
