3Garver was on the Silver Slugger team with less than 400 AB's. Buxton is a Platinum Glove award winner. Both cost nothing and are under team control for at least two more years. Not only would the Twins GM hang up on this offer, but he would block all calls from San Diago in the future!
Sorry but if they can get anyone at this point for buxton they should.. he’s been in the league since 2015 and has played an average of 80 games a year.. they went to the playoffs without him so if they could get a few pieces for him they def should. Sorry but I completely disagree with you
Hear me out.. padres take a flyer on buxton and hope he stays healthy, and get a pretty good hitting catcher. Twins pick up a pretty good Young controllable mid/back rotation starter who they need! and a good reliever in wingenter, (his year was affected by injuries) hes a good setup man. (7th inning). Margot and hedges can replace buxton and garver decently.
