5To give up Rosario especially at this point in offseason mets would need senzel+. Or maybe India, Stephenson, and Galvis. Obviously I would rather package Rosario for Lindor or just keep Rosario.
I think one could work out. Mahle, is the 6th man in the rotation now. Reds really need a SS.
But then the Mets would need a shortstop. And they currently have six veteran starters on the roster already. Makes sense for the Reds but not for the Mets.
the Mets have Jimenez, a big deal prospect shortstop that can be called up anytime. Then I can't think of his name but he's supposed to be the next big deal at shortstop. You guys are stacked there.
Gimenez is not a big deal prospect. He struggled last year. He's not going to be ready any time soon. He doesn't have the offensive upside Rosario does. This idea makes no sense for a win-now team like the Mets.
