Reliever with bad, expiring contract has his salary taken on by the Giants, forever panning for gold. Matias is a total lottery ticket at this point, and Heasley profiles as a swingman long-term. In return, the Royals get a controllable arm who may rediscover his rookie year form, although I'd assume they could do without him. UPDATE: I just found out Heasley is not on the 60-man roster, so throw in another bullpen arm with around his value instead.
