2Cleveland is not trading James Karinchak. I am not sure that Haniger has much trade value until he shows he is healthy.
No particular reason for this trade just passing the time but for a little explanation Cleveland needs outfield help so that's obviously were Haniger fits in and Long has played a lot of left field to go along with 2b and help the infield when Lindor is eventually gone. As for Seattle they would get a needed bullpen arm and possibly a starter or another BP arm.
