The Brewers get one of the best young pitchers in Plesac, and they get a wonderful defensive catcher that they don't have in Hedges. The Indians get Urias, who will probably move into Short Stop and Rosario will go to DH or platoon with Urias. They also get Garrett Mitchell, who was a steal for the Brewers, but more importantly, he is an outfielder, one with fantastic speed that will result in plus defense, and he has a solid bat even showing more power last year. They also receive the Brewers 7th prospect in the system in Antoine Kelly, who is a big lefty pitcher that has a fastball that sits 94-97, even touching 98, and it has late movement on it. He is expected to increase his velocity in the upcoming years judging by his tall frame. He does have a pretty good slider with late action, but he doesn't throw a good changeup, and he doesn't throw it often, causing some concern. In the minors, he will have to develop a good third pitch, and probably a 4th, and he will also need to clean up his control a little bit. Some promising notes are that he did lead all JUCO pitchers in strikeouts/9 with a whopping 19.1 in 2019. Overall, the Brewers are probably giving a little bit too much, but they will need to give more than anticipated if they want to pry Plesac from Cleveland's hands.

SP isn't really the Brewers main need right now. Well yes, another SP would be nice, they should get 3B/1B instead. Not to mention, Omar Narvaez, Jacob Nottingham, and Many Pina all had great defensive seasons last year.

I would agree, but I don't think the Brewers have enough tools in their organization to trade for Ramirez, and Plesac was mentioned in trade talks after the Covid situation. I just got two random teams on a generator and decided that the Brewers would more likely be able to trade for Plesac, given the market and their low budget.

I like Plesac, but the Brewers have absolutely no use for an extremely weak hitting catcher. They already have a very good defensive catcher in Pina and a starting catcher in Narvaez. Plus they have 6 catchers in their system including one of their top prospects. Plus Hedges is going to make $3.5M. The Brewers remove Kelly and add Bettinger and the Indians keep Hedges.

That is a great point, I was kind of disappointed in myself after submitting this, because although the Brewers don't have a great farm system, Kelly is too much in general, and a prospect in the 15-20 region for the organization would be a lot better. And I included Hedges to make it a little more fair for the Brewers, but I honestly totally forgot about Pina, and knowing that Narvaez isn't a great defensive catcher, I did add Hedges to make it almost like a Jeff Mathis situation.
