3To be honest, I'm not that fond of tis one either. I don't have a good feel for what the A's are looking for.

The A's biggest need right now is for a SS to replace Marcus Semien. They could also use a fifth starter and another bullpen arm, both of which you cover here.
So whenever I want to propose a trade and I am unsure about a team, I look through their Team Values page on here and see what is missing on their major league roster and/or what is lacking on their minor league farm. Sorting by Level and Position helps organize the players a bit better. There are even links to players' Fangraphs pages to take a quick look at their stats and contract info. Plus, if I miss anything, a fan from that team sometimes chimes in with what I maybe didn't see or hadn't considered. I really appreciate when that happens.
