This trade is perfect for both sides. The Dodgers get who they are interested in for a low price. The Marlins are taking chances on two MLB ready prospects in Zach McKinstry, the 18th ranked prospect in the Dodgers system, who has above average defense at second base but needs to hit the ball better, and Edwin Uceta, the 22nd ranked prospect in the Dodgers system, who has a a fastball that touches 95 with a lot of movement, and a good changeup with deception on it. However, he does need to cut down on the walks as he walked 4.1 batters/9 which is much higher than anticipated for a pitcher that doesn't throw too hard.
