2I just can't see the Brewers wanting any part of this. I believe they'd look at this as far too much to give up for a one-and-done Story. Plus they would also have to absorb his $18.5M salary.
This is a slight overpay for the Brewers but with they are ready and have the assets for this one. Story could be a difference maker in the NL Central and could push this Brewers squad into the Top 3 in the NL. The Rockies get the Brewers 3,5,6 and 27 top prospects. Turang has a good hit tool and defense/speed skills. 10-12 HR power is possible. Feliciano could be the long term catcher that they have been seeking. Kelly is a young flamethrower who has a ton of upside but is having thoracic outlet surgery now. Lazar is an interesting young RHP who has some good great K/BB ratios early on and should be a fast riser. The Brewers are giving up a TON of future value for Story but this is the right move for the right team.
