3Highly doubtful Reds deal their #1 prospect for a LH reliever.
1. Fry has been borderline elite for the past couple of years. 2. Lodolo is still seen (well, in my eyes) as a prospect with some risk: He's 23, but might remain in AA until he's 25, and has only thrown 48.1 innings of work. 3. Fry comes with 3 years of control still; I understand the Reds wouldn't deal Lodolo for a rental. So I get where you're coming from, but the Reds need 'pen help after Tejay Antone's injury and Amir Garrett's maddening inconsistency.
You’re telling me a guy who’s gone 30 innings with a .9 era with 45k’s and if it wasn’t for a blister problem would be in triple A. Is going to be in AA for two more years. Along with that has been the hottest pitching prospect with Cade cavali from the nationals. Is going to go for a left handed reliever?
