Mets have a roster crunch coming up with guys getting healthy, Yankees MLB depth in center is Gardner/Judge/Wade (so, not ideal). Not much offense, but at least Almora is a legitimate CF option, even just for the late innings. Mets cover remaining salary so the Yankees don't take the luxury tax hit, and get a guy with a little upside, probably as a reliever, in return. I just picked someone from the Yankees' Fangraph's 20-30, but really just some minors depth would be nice, as it's lacking right now, so could be any number of players heading to the Mets in this type of scenario.
