1From the Pirates perspective this is basically Song for Anderson which I think is a good trade for the Pirates. The Red Sox lose a prospect, upgrade the backend of their rotation, and also free up a some money for them to make other trades and since they are so close to the penalty level that may be more important than it sounds.
