3Maybe this trade Tex will likely trade Gallo so ... LHB//COF/1B Matt Beaty, Carson Taylor (C @ A+) and a RHP PTBNL worth 3.6 SV)
The Dodgers' FO must be shaking their heads and wondering "Where did all the pitchers go?" Allard is a nice fill-in for the #5 spot in the rotation, and at 23, he has potential to be an intriguing piece for at least a few more years to come. The Rangers have a void at SS, what with Elvis Andrus' large contract and bad production. Amaya has hit .258/.367/.389 with a .756 OPS. He'd be a solid guy at Double- and Triple-A. FEEDBACK APPRECIATED.
Void at SS? Does Isiah Kiner-Falefa not count? They also have Acosta climbing up their ranks who should be up around the time IKF may start to experience some drop off. I also don’t think they’re willing to part with Allard as he’s going to play a huge role in the rotation come 2023-2024 when Leiter, Winn, and Crouse are making their debuts. As far as lefty depth in the rangers system too, well there is none.
