1As mentioned in my comment on a possible Mets trade for Javier Baez, there's a lot more room for upgrade in their OF. The likelihood of this trade happening depends on whether the Rangers think Kiner-Falefa is a long-term solution at SS. Despite the stolen bases, he's not a legit offensive piece (OPS+ this year is only 81; he doesn't get on base much and he hardly has any power). I think it's obvious they should be looking to upgrade, but you look at the Rangers and it's a fair statement that they don't seem to be very good at putting a team together, so they may be so dazzled by the SB and the glove that they're happy with Kiner-Falefa. It would be perfectly reasonable, I think, for the Mets to throw in Ginn and overpay a little to make it happen.
