2The Brewers easily go for the deal, but I seriously doubt the Rangers would take such garbage in return.
As a Rangers fan I’m not for certain that Adolis will play a huge part in our future. I think it’s more wise to trade him at his peak value and beef up our system than keep a 28 year old who likely won’t keep up his insane play for much longer. I think Hiura could use a change of scenery to get his career back on track, and with solaks underperformance, the second base spot could be open to either him or hiura promoting competition and improvement between the two. Ray has been a flop thus far as a prospect but he could definitely see quality playing time in the rangers outfield especially if they move on from Gallo and Garcia as their depth would be thin. Maybe a new environment and consistent playing time in a less stressful situation could be what he needs to live up to his former value
