1The Padres probably should accept that this might not be their season. When the next MLB the Show cover rolls out, I do think that Shohei or somebody who isn't a Padre will be on the cover. Bryan Reynolds is a good piece for the Padres, who is controlled through his prime years from 26-29. On the Pirates' side, they're lightyears away from making some noise in the postseason picture. Two good prospects will help solve that. Gore was just a top 100 prospect before losing his command at Triple-A. Pirates philosophy is to mold prospects into groundballers, in which case Gore might gain back some control. Grisham is a 24 year old who burst onto the scene. He has 4 years of control left, and he'd be a good piece for any team to take on.
