3Lewis's injury history scares me, but Big Bat mentioned him on another post so I tried to come up with a proposal. Morgan gives Seattle another potential starter and Zimmer can be a 4th OF that can play CF. Cleveland gets Lewis and his potential at a position of need and gains 2 40 man roster spots that will be needed this offseason. Cleveland should have the pitching depth to withstand losing Morgan.
Lewis is a favorite of mine and another team leader. Much as I hate to admit it, this looks like a fair trade for both parties, Lewis could be another Grady Sizemore for Cleveland (both pros and cons) and if he hits his potential he's almost certainly the best player moving in this trade. But as you say, Seattle does have the OF depth to accept the loss and could very much use the relatively lower ceiling players coming back. The one issue is that Bradley Zimmer doesn't seem dramatically better than Jake Fraley, so there would probably be some wrangling over that last piece.
I actually agree with you Mal. I see no reason Seattle would have any interest in Zimmer unless the viewed him as a good buy low candidate. As a Cleveland fan I also think Seattle should be getting more value in return since they are giving up the most valued player in this deal. Although Rosario is only 25 and put together a damn good season. Like you said, the last piece(Zimmer) can be wrangled over or I'd be willing to add something else too.
