2Blue Jays get a controllable starter. Cleveland gets a corner outfielder, back up catcher, and use Pearson in the bullpen this year. Drop McGuire and I would still do it. To Big Bat - If I am moving 4 years of a controllable starter, I want an impact for our 2022 team and I don't see Kevin Smith as it.
This deal as listed would be fine.. no changes save for perhaps a "sweetener" to the Jays to make the values line up better.. The Jays can pick two from a list of Aaron Bracho, Steve Kwan, Owen Miller or Jose Tena..
