6Maybe you have a logical explanation, but how does this make any sense from Cleveland's POV? You want them to trade an inexpensive, controlled, quality SP for 3 lesser pitchers? Cleveland is struggling with a roster crunch as it is and this does nothing buy hinder them further while lessening their chances of competing.
Al, Big Bat, may not say it in the nicest way, but Cleveland's roster crunch is real. They just added 11 prospects to their 40 man roster so adding a few spare parts does not fit their needs. Quantrill fits the Cleveland model. This trade does not make sense for them.
Alright, thanks man
How was I not nice? I basically asked him questions with a general interest in his reasoning. I only stated facts and anyone can see that Quantrill is superior to the 3 he offered back to Cleveland. I simply explained to him the issues with the roster count and facts about Quantrill. Maybe he doesn't know them and simply made this proposal based off of the values.
I'm trying to do a trade with all 30 MLB teams and I decided to do this one because the Guardians are selling high on Quantrill for 3 pitchers that they have control on for a long time. Sorry if you disagree.
I understand and there's nothing wrong with creating proposals with all 30 teams. However, this is not "selling high" on Quantrill. He is just entering his prime and only got a real opportunity to start last season. Take a look at the results and he is not a FA until 2026. All I'm saying is that it makes 0 sense from Cleveland's POV while making complete sense from LA's. I try to be fair in my deals as that is the only way to keep this site fun IMO.
