1I saw a trade for Luis Castillo and Akiyama so even though I am sure the Reds won’t attach a bad contract to Castillo, Mahle or Gray …. Well they shouldn’t anyway. Any trade with the Mariners for Castillo should start with Kirby or Kelenic. Just like a previous trade I couldn’t help myself in going Castillo for Castillo. Anyone looking for Castillo or Mahle to a lesser degree should be prepared to part with some high level talent. If you want to pay less then target Gray but even then if I am the Reds I will want a good return. Lastly I am tired of seeing 2B and C being sent to the Reds, as they are constructed now those are the only 2 spots that are locked up for the foreseeable future. You can make the argument they are set at SS between Farmer who is a very good stop gap option and a great looking prospect right behind him in Barrero.
