2I'm not sure why people don't see this as a good deal for the Jays. Groshans is a great 1 for 1 deal for Chapman, I who cares about two pitching prospects virtually no one has heard of.
It's highly unlikely the A's are going to trade Chapman for an injury prone SS who's still in AA (granted, the Jays #3 prospect, a 55-grade prospect, who might end up being a very good player), and two lotto-ticket pitchers (prospects #12 & #16, 45-grade) who have very little experience so far. That's just too much risk for the A's. They'll want a healthy main prospect, probably a 50-grade so that the secondary prospects can be more valuable. And I doubt they'll be very interested in 2021 draft picks (Tiedemann) who are likely 3 (or more) years from the majors.
