Good idea JimBob, but I'm not overly excited about Pinango. Jones is listed as a 3B here, but he's being groomed for a corner OF for Cleveland and is actually a better defender there than 3B. He'll hopefully by ready sometime in 22 and could be the type of impact bat that the Guardians need desperately. I doubt Chernoff will give him up for 1 yr of Contreras and a slap hitting A ball OFer. I think they'd trade Jones, but it will be as part of a bigger package for a longer term solution. Contreras is exactly the type of C that Cleveland needs though. IMO of course. Jones and another piece for Happ and Contreras makes a bit more sense to me.
