Good deal.. I think, maybe, the A's would decline of the two teams.. If the deal does go forward.. the A's will be pleased with Mercado's range in the outfield.. something they'll attempt to teach young mr pauson.. Thanks for posting this..
No. The A's should not be trading a prospect for a not-much-more-than-replacement level left fielder with one year before arbitration. It's literally the opposite of what they are trying to do.
