Interesting idea, however, there is no way that LA does that deal, giving up not just two Starters, but the biggest draw since Mike Trout... And they get back Mike Trout.

Yes, I know Angels likely would never bite on this - also this would leave the Jays with huge holes up the middle, they also lost Semien this off-season. Was just amazed at Bichettes assigned value so put this together to illustrate that, no knock on him - amazing player and with 4 years left of club control, but c'mon- Ohtani and a quality major league arm. Seems like a lot.

I'm Halos fan, so I know Halos never allow to lose Ohtani. But I can feel you. This plan is meaningful for Jays 'cause Ohtani is much suitable for Jays to win right now. He is LH slugger what Jays want. Guerrero Jr & Ohtani - nasty. much so nasty. And Ohtani can be the final piece for Jays' SP rotation. Jays already have 4 fine starters, Barrios /Gausman /Manoah /Ryu. Just adding 1 more hi-class SP is enough to win playoffs. Barrios, Gausman, Manoah, Ryu & Ohtani - really amazing.
