just a selfish plan.

It’s not awful. I can make an argument for why the Rays might be willing to move Mejia, Walls and Kitt for the right return. This trade has all the right elements. Would probably depend on whether the Rays think Bachman is a starter or reliever. That said, I still think Walls is unlikely to be moved.

Always thank you for your telling many things to me, mp2891. Sorry but I have no idea how to judge Backman is suitable for starter or not, from his data (stats). This deal is simply "what I want for Halos". Like a little kid, I wrote down "I wanna take this and that, and ...wow, Rays have almost all what I want for Halos !" The payment method is not pocket money but Adell & Backman. Yep I already heard your opinion of Walls from you. I agree that there's few chance to get him. I thought so when I checked Rays' estimated roster at Fangraphs..

It’s Fangraph’s write up of Bachman that has me concerned about the reliever risk for Bachman. It surprised me. Going down the list: *KK - He’s getting moved this year. *Mejia - Rays have 4 catchers on their 40 man when they usually have only 2 or 3. One is likely to get traded before OD *Kitt - He’s arguably the Rays best reliever and still affordable. That said, the Rays have a deep pen with a number of good arms returning from injury. *Walls - He could be the starter at SS or 3B. He could be the Rays’ super utility infielder. All 3 positions are critical positions with the Rays. Hard to see him moved without an outside acquisition first.
