Isn’t Garrett the trouble maker/fighter/headhunter? Or am I thinking of someone else

ColoradoRed

Not really, Someone (a cub of course) charges the mound, and Garret got suspended.

Like this deal too. Minor & Derek Johnson have history. Minor is much more suitable as an innings eater out of the rotation & the pen. So is Dunn. You probably don't like it or agree with it, but Krall & Johnson are reconstructing the Reds pitching staff, not dismantling it. I see them being successful in less than 15 months.

Personally, I'm just glad to see Garrett gone. His antics and temper were an embarrassment to himself and the team.

I think under a different manager, Amir might have been kept more composed on the mound. Nontheless, it's got to be a relief for DJ not to have to be in the middle between Bell & Garrett.

Real life trade. Mixed reports on the exact cash valule, but it appears to be $0.5M in 2022 and $1.0M to cover Minor's 2023 buyout. Feel free to let us know if a report comes out saying otherwise.

Bad show for Reds FO. They should have accepted Wiley's 10m -- they could always swap that later during off-season. Bet they wish they had Miley now (instead of Minor or Vlad Gut)

Wade had a value of 0, Minor is a bit higher, and a year or so younger. Time will tell.
