3For Phils this provides some LHP depth. Lad saves 9m in 2022 P/R and clears a spot on 40 man. Kingery is a bust but versatile defender and speedy. He is in AAA and would require 'fixing' as UF for trade value? The minor SV difference is based on Phils interest in 2 win-now pitchers for same cost as remaining payoff of Kingery. With 3y and 3 options left, Kingery is not zero value to LAD but neither is Price..

Actually Kingery has a 4m AAV for 2022 AND Phils are at 233m p/r where lux tax begins at 230m. Incentives for Phils are not enough to add Price to p/r.
