2Why would the Royals even think of doing this? They take on $22M and get no better in a year where they are already 10.5 games out. Alberto just got over his visa problems and is a bench guy at best. Muncy is having the worst year of his career and making $13M. Price is $16M. Pillar is so bad anybody could have taken him for a minor lg. deal. Everybody but the Dodgers passed. Burrows is getting hammered in AAA.
