3I don’t see this happening unless the Red Sox go on a massive loosing streak and are under 500 at the deadline.
Edman is leading all SS in war so Cards are happy with him at SS. Hensley is their closer and Herrera will compete for the starting catching position next year. Cards are looking for bullpen help not a SS
Idk about that. They are struggling with pitching massively and these pitchers are under control for a few years and fix their problem. Plus they get a catching prospect who is having a good year.
