3Why would the Royals need a SS with Bobby Witt? How about Jasson Domiknguez instead?
One of the two can move to third and Dominguez could be a higher value trade asset than Peraza at the moment with Peraza’s underwhelming AAA numbers. Plus Yankees would rather trade a guy on the 40-man than a guy who is R5 eligible in 23
And considering that Waters is basically the same guy in terms of roster implications as Peraza, it might fit the royals better as well. Plus trading a true rental and a reliever for Dominguez and his ceiling seems a bit outlandish
