1Rationale for this trade: For the Red Sox, even though they need bullpen upgrades, I still think they could make an aggressive move and get Josh Bell shoring up their offense. Grabbing Bell would also ensure no other AL rival gets him. For the Nationals, trading Josh Bell makes a lot of sense to restock the farm. Lugo fits perfectly mathematically from this site, but he would also be a promising player for Washington. Lugo is currently posting a wRC+ 120 in over 300 PAs in A+ and he seems like he is ready for AA. Also, Lugo is a level, or two, above Brady House (the 50 prospect for the Nats), so I don't think his addition currently poses a problem for House's development.
