1There's a rumor the Dodgers and Reds are in discussion for a trade re: Castillo. For the Reds, I could see Andy Pages being the headline piece in this trade. Pages is 21 years old and currently has a wRC+ 112 in AA. He also seems poised for a promotion to AAA and given his trajectory, it's entirely plausible he's one of the staring OFs for the Reds next year (if he were to be acquired). Jose Ramos is not as heralded as Pages, but still doing really well in A+ and seems like he's ready for AA. This would be another nice piece for the Reds. Since the Reds are shipping Castillo, it makes sense they'd want at least 1 pitcher in return and Clayton Beeter would compliment the 2 OFs above. Beeter is doing fine in AA and it's possible he could join the Reds late next year or early 2024 if things pan out well.
