3Down vote for Oakland. Sorry, can't take an injured Baez as part of the deal. I think Graceffo and Thompson is a solid start.
Montas and the Cardinals seem like a natural fit. I ultimately think the return package for Montas would be a little heavier than this, but as-is I think this is close to what the A's will be looking for. Graceffo has a nice four-pitch mix and is performing in AA, though I am concerned about where the strikeouts have gone. I like Baez as an upside play, though it is rather concerning that he's had one at bat this year. Thompson could provide some depth in the rotation or stay in the pen, the A's like taking chances on these types of guys.
The only thing I can find on Baez is that he's been out with a left wrist sprain, but it's been two months? I don't know what's going on there, and I would need to in order to pull a deal like this off. He's kind of a placeholder anyways as I would be targeting Tink Hence as the second piece in the deal.
