3Brewers are looking to trade a Catcher and it’s said to be Severino cause he’s suspended for the post season. He’s signed for next season too for 1.3M. Which is right in the Pirates wheelhouse. Severino is good defensively and only 29 years old still. Pirates get a young pitching prospect(22 years old), Antoine Kelly, that works out with Keller and Crowe. And he’s having a really good season. Strzelecki is a rookie RP who moved fast through the minors and had good numbers and high K/9 throughout.
Brewers had Gamel. They don't want him back. He offers absolutely nothing to Milwaukee that they don't have. I believe the Brewers are looking for Severino to be their backup catcher next year.
