6The Reds are not going to trade Lodolo for an unproven LHP and Martinez. Uh, have you looked at how many SS prospects the Reds have?
The reds rank 29th in SS depth. Not to mention none of their shortstops are batting over .280 or slugging over .500... not to mention this season in the minors Tiedemann has a 2.17 ERA .86 WHIP and 117 SO's in 80 inning pitched.
Can you please provide a source for your comment that "the Reds rank 29th in SS depth?" When you say that none of their "SS are batting over .280 or slugging over .500" you must be referring to the SS's on the active roster, correct? There are few SS's on ANY major league roster that are hitting over .280 and slugging .500. Tiedemann has ONLY pitched 78.2 professional innings. ONLY 11 innings in AA ball. His numbers are against lower level minor league hitters.
its on fangraphs that they only rank 29th
And whos not to say that they wont be traded sometime in the next couple years, i dont think Elly will stay with the reds much longer.
Bruddah, you are really reaching to support your trade proposal here. I would suggest you do your homework next time. It is obvious you looked up the Reds vast SS depth and are now trying to walk back your claims.
