Rangers solidify 2 positions and get 3 years of team control each for Lewis and Buxton and give up Walcott to do it. Chris Young has always seemed willing to trade prospects to shore up the big league roster.

Walcott seems a little overvalued here and think the Twins would want at least 4-5 prospects, not just one, if they were getting rid of two major league bats

I hear you, but prospects of Walcott's ilk rarely get traded. The Twins have a young, ready-made OF with Gonzalez, Jenkins, and Rodriguez. They also get to dump the money owed to Buxton. If you pair this trade with the other proposal I made of Joe Ryan for Bryce Eldridge and Casey Schmitt, the Twins have a good young OF and prodigious power on the corners in the IF with Walcott and Eldridge.

Twins have a ton of very good MLB & soon to be 3Bmen they don't need any more, Byron is a proven elite CFer who have a lot of intangibles for MN that they need. I'd rather trade one of our other OFers (MLB or prospect). Both Buxton & Lewis are undervalued, now.
