I’d do this trade in a heartbeat if I were the Rays IF I thought the Rays were contenders this year AND we weren’t staring down the barrel of a potentially full season lockout in 2027. However, I don’t think the Rays are making the playoffs and I do think the 2027 season will be locked out, so I think I would pass on this trade. It’s still a hard call because I’m not that high on Isaac (can’t hit lefties) and I’m really high on Estrada.
