Rays need quality, not quantity. I don’t even like the headliner of this trade, let alone most of the rest.

I think its a lot more quality then you think it is, BA is pretty high on Pratt who's already a top 100 prospect expecting a break out year for him, they think Dinges is a future power hitting OF not catcher but TB needs both positions, Josh A is just a hitting machine, Thompson was a 2nd round pick last year and a LHP which TB needs lots of, Knoth is a '24 first round pick with good size and huge stuff, got TJS out of the way last year and he's still really young with a lot of upside, Meccage is a big boy with the makings of being a really sneaky good pitcher

I think Pratt has 40 grade power and if that’s the case he’s not much better than Barrios and Santana as defense first SS’s. I don’t remotely agree with a top 100 ranking. Josh A is a hitting machine, which he will need to be as a DH. I have no thoughts on Dinges the outfielder but the Rays won’t want him at catcher. Knoth, Meccage and Thompson are fine for what they bring to the table. I wouldn’t want to trade Yandy or Pep for them as headliners though.
