Why would the Rays trade their best pitching prospect (ie: a TOR candidate) for a quantity trade of other prospects? Would the Mariners accept 2-3 lesser prospects for Sloan or Anderson?

Not at all. This was more to see what the response would be from the Card's on here. I know they would love Sloan plus Cijntje or Arroyo or Montes or at least Anderson by himself for Dononvan which is a massive overpay. I was wondering what changing the SP prospect would do. I like the 2nd trade I posted better than this one.
