5Not even close for Cleveland. They're looking to win and compete for a WS. This deal takes them in the opposite direction, but you probably knew that already.
Not as horrible at BigBat makes it out to be, but the pitcher Cleveland gets back in the deal likely has to be better than Harrington for Cleveland to even get them to think about it...
No, it's as terrible as I suggested.
Meyers is a guy who is a legit 4th OF that hits lefties well... A need... Matthews adds in a RH bat that has played 2B,SS, 3B and CF who is a top 100 prospect still... Harrington adds in SP depth... It's the type of return Cleveland is looking for in Kwan... I just don't think Harrington is good enough of a SP to get Cleveland to bite...
Meyers is no more than marginally better than Fairchild who is already signed to a minor league deal. Mathews isn't enough to headline the deal and the other 2 aren't fits. This is an easy no from Cleveland.
