2I’ll play along here, even if this is very unlikely to happen. Concept seems sound: overpay for the guy you’re gonna have to overpay for. But I’d only sign off for the Giants on 2 conditions: (1) they sign Tucker as well, (2) they make another deal to improve the pen. No sense in going in halfway!

their best bet is to trade Ramos while his stock is high and if he can somewhat improve his defense in LF, otherwise go trade for arnoldis chapman or someone else of top tier pen relief and dump the place holders like matos, winn, and the inexperinced surplus of pitching
