4We were incentivized to move that comp pick thus moving our QO pick we'll be giving up even further back. Honestly it feels like we're giving up a decent bit here in potential but.... It's like the second most valuable piece from the Rays and signifies we're not done. Baz doesn't have to come to Baltimore and be the #1,2 or 3. He's will slot in as our 4 once we sign valdez or ranger.
That's a lot of high picks to part with. Adds a lot of depth to the Rays farm. As Slimecave said though. Add a #1 or 2 and the O's have a deep rotation
Love it. Hell of a return for a misdle reliever like Shane Baz. Keep growing that Delmon trade tree.
