7Congrats, your post was first so you get the featured slot.
Grissom has fallen like a rock
💁🏼♀️ That’s excellent, now there’s an open 40 man spot. Breslow can fill it with Murakami just before 🎄🤔

Murakami would lead MLB in strike outs, and that's before factoring in his K rate could get even worse vs. MLB pitching. It's like....spending money to get Bobby Dalbec back. No thank you
Hey, I’m with you on Murakami. I post it because I think it is such a Red Sox thing to do, they want so badly to be marketed world wide that they chase the overseas superstar and throw $$ away on posting fees.
💁🏼♀️ All signs point to a Murakami signing. Let me explain. In the last 24hrs+ the Red Sox have; cried poverty, been linked to acquiring an aging 2B with a $100m+ contract that would require sending major league players and/or propects, had a zoom meeting with Bichette, will be having an in-person sit-down with Alonso, and Breslow stating he wants a home run hitter for the middle of the order. But let’s keep in mind that besides Devers, The Sox haven’t paid or bought a multi-year contract that would take a position player past the age of 34 since 2018.. So that leaves the 25yr Murakami left as the only real fit..
Another off season of lip service from the powers that be in the Red Sox front office. They won’t sign any of the free agent starting pitchers that have the qualifying offer attached, they won’t $pend at the top of the market for the bat(s) that they so desperately need, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to watch them throw away more $$$ on posting fees for a player. There will be at least 1 more year of lip service like this again during the ‘26 ‘27 off season. The Red Sox true colors are shining brightly, you just need to put your shades on to tone it down so that you can really see what is happening inside Fenway and with those who occupy the seats around the decision making table.
