@Grover How does this look for the A's? I am thinking the Dodgers could get a PTBNL from the Guardians.
Soderstrom and Ryan are studs that you build around. I'd give up Kwan to the Dodgers and Genoa to the A's to get them. Let the Dodgers keep Morales. What are your thoughts on that Grover? Obviously in that scenario they become independent deals, but I figure some gaps could be covered with lesser prospects/players if need be.
Not interested. The premise was to trade Soderstrom for immediate help, specifically in the rotation, and Genoa doesn't meet either criteria. I'm opposed to trading Soderstrom but I came across a Messick/Soderstrom pitch (plus Comp picks had just been announced) and I thought there might be a conversation to be had.
I don't understand. Messick is "immediate help" and Genoa is further along than Morales. Probably a better SS prospect too. I don't blame you for not being interested in trading Soderstrom, but if you were then it's a more than fair offer.
My apologies, I misunderstood. I thought you were swapping Messick for Genoa and adding prospects... not Messick + Genoa. Do the A's still get the Comp A pick?

Morales is currently shiner than Chourio, so it's a better deal for the A's in that regard. But this also feels light for LA.
I am thinking the Dodgers would get a PTBNL from Cleveland... I was going to add a prospect around 5 BTV value, but I didn't know what the Dodgers wanted...
