2Hyde is signed for four more years 92M$ and he is already 32. Doubt the Reds go for this and have to move McClain to the outfield or trade him. Also why is a prospect relief pitcher worth so much? Of course this may be after the fact of your trade but Reds signed Pagan back to be the closer.
Mena is considered a starter, his projections are coming in strong, and he has six years of control. That said, it surprised me too.
