3Heard the bones of this one and embellished a bit. I think Pallante has more to find & I think might find that gear. Giving up 2 good prospects to do it.
Cleveland doesn't need another LHRP and they're not giving up 2 of the guys they will be counting on in 26. Also, I don't believe the Guardians are that interested in giving up what it would take to get Donovan. They don't rob Peter to pay Paul. Just not their style.

Messick isn't going to be available, he's no longer a Prospect to Cleveland, he's in the rotation. Secondly, I'd be very surprised to ever see Cleveland trade a pick for someone who isn't a top prospect... Cleveland lives in the draft, they spend more in the draft than any other team.
