I’m sure McClanny is untradeable right now, but even if that weren’t the case, this trade probably wouldn’t interest the Rays. Rays have plenty of small ball good defenders in the outfield. They need a power bat, which Meyers doesn’t have. Rays should have no interest in him. Dezenzo doesn’t interest me personally, but maybe the Rays think he would be a good Yandy replacement (ie: a RHB for 1B/DH). Forcucci might make up for Meyers and Dezenzo though.
