I don't know if HotDog meant this to be tongue-in-cheek or a real proposal. It certainly makes absolutely no sense for Milwaukee. Even if they were going to pull a cubs and totally tank, they wouldn't even consider this. Duran stunk in 2021 and 2022. The Brewers are loaded with OFs. They have no use for Duran. Mata is a lower-level prospect with control issues. Yorke wasn't very good at A+ (.232/.303/.365) and is a 2B. The Brewers have better prospects coming up. Zero chance Stearns throws away $36M and gives away either Burnes or Woodruff much less both at the same time, just to jettison Yelich's contract.

Yeah this would never happen, was tongue-in-cheek. Just imagining what it would take to get rid of Yelich's contract. I doubt Stearns does anything though considering how underwater it is. Better to just let it play out and hope he improves.
