I've seen similar trades, but this one gets downvoted? Seems a little weird when it's clearly a good trade for both sides because they're filling needs.

You would obviously over pay to get Greene in any scenario, but do you think Casas, Duran and Tolle is a lot? I feel its hard grading Casas value with all the injuries. I gave it a thumbs up just cause getting Greene is a game changer. Just curious your thoughts.

I would make this trade if I am Krall and I am a big fan of Casas and his potential however I can see three issues getting in the way. One. They just anointed Sal Stewart first base as far as I can tell. Not sure where they would put him other than DH. Not sure they want to do that. Two. Also would depend on the Reds evaluation of SP Tolle. Would they value him so highly as you and this website does? How soon is he ready for the bigs? Three. Would the Reds consider this an overpay? It definitely seems like a fair trade but seeing how Green is a #1 or #2 depending on what pitchers said team had already and is paid peanuts compared to his abilities usually demands some kind of an overpay. At least from what I have seen in other similar trades. How about keep Tolle and add C Carlos Narvaez? Anyway I see Red Sox at the best team match if the Reds end up trading Greene. As a Reds fan I hate obviously losing Greene but it seems to be the only way Reds will get better with real needle movers and fill the holes in our lineup.
