6If the Dodgers want Kwan... This is what Cleveland is likely looking for... Cleveland isn't going to trade Kwan without the overpay... Cleveland doesn't have to trade Kwan...
Steven Kwan - you ARE a Los Angeles Dodger
I think this is a fair deal as Kwan's value here is on the very low end. I think this is a deal that the Dodgers would be willing to do as well. I'm not stuck on Lindsey and if they would like to send Miller instead I'd be ok with that too.
Reason why I picked Lindsey is because scouts have him ranked very similarly to Trea Turner... Plus speed and solid defense... Even if he doesn't stick to SS, hes likely going to be able to play 2B/LF/CF... Hes also a right handed bat, something we do lack in the system overall especially since Rodriguez, Noel aren't going to be around and I don't think Mooney is going to pan out... We added Rosario, and adding Lindsey to him, adds the complimentary RH bats we kind of need... When it comes to Freeland... Takes a lot of walks, can steal 20 bases... Likely would be best in RF though if switched to the OF cause of his plus arm.
Lindsey isn't the SS prospect that Genoa is and is comparable to Francisca in terms of value. He's not likely a target for Cleveland. I like Freeland, but I don't know how Cleveland would incorporate him. I'm sure he has better plate discipline than Arias, but he doesn't come close to Arias' defense and power. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying no to this deal.
If the Dodgers are willing to do this... Kwan is a Dodger, if not hes a Guardian...
